Ingredients:

  • 360 grams vegan dark chocolate (roughly 1 cup)

  • 2 -3 tbsp almond butter

  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds

  • zest from two large oranges

  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries

  • 1 tsp flaked salt

Instructions:

  1. Begin by putting the dark chocolate in a medium-sized bowl and adding a few inches of water to a small saucepan.

  2. Place the glass bowl over the pot and set to medium heat. The chocolate will gradually melt. Stir from time to time to ensure the chocolate melts uniformly. This method is known as a double boiler.

  3. As the chocolate melts, place the chopped almonds in a small frying pan over medium heat and stir them for approximately 5 minutes to lightly toast.

  4. Pour the melted chocolate onto a baking tray or cutting board lined with parchment. Then, sprinkle the toasted almonds, cranberries, and orange zest on top.

  5. Pour the almond butter over and then sprinkle the flaky salt on top.

  6. Chill in the refrigerator for a minimum of one hour.

  7. Take the bark out of the fridge and break it into pieces. Make sure to keep any leftovers stored in the fridge.
