Blueberry Chia Seed Jam

Blueberry chia seed jam is a fantastic treat that satisfies your sweet tooth while offering impressive health benefits. This tasty spread combines the sweetness of blueberries with the unique texture and nutritional advantages of chia seeds. It’s a versatile addition to your kitchen, perfect for toast, yogurt, or even enjoyed by the spoonful. With just a few simple ingredients, you can create a jam that not only delights the senses but also nourishes your body.


Makes 1 1/2 cups | ⏱️ 10 mins | gluten free 🌾


Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup frozen blueberries - you can use 2 cups if you prefer

  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 3 tbsp of water


Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, mix all the ingredients over low heat.

  2. Stir and let simmer for 10 minutes until the chia seeds develop a jelly-like appearance.

  3. Take it off the heat and allow it to cool. Pour it into a glass jar and store it in the fridge for 2 weeks.
