Chocolate Almond Granola

Granola has become a staple in many households, celebrated for its versatility and health benefits. Among the myriad of flavors, chocolate almond granola stands out not only for its rich taste but also for its appealing crunch. Whether you're looking for a quick breakfast, a healthy snack, or a topping for your favorite yogurt, chocolate almond granola is a delightful choice that fits perfectly into your daily routine.

Makes 3 cups | ⏱️ 30 mins | 🌾 gluten free
Ingredients:
3 cups oats
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup sliced almonds
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 melted coconut oil
1/3 cup chocolate chips, optional
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and cover a baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, combine the oats, cocoa powder, almonds, salt, and cinnamon.
In another bowl, combine the maple syrup and coconut oil.
Combine the oat mixture with the oil/syrup mixture by pouring it over and mixing together.
Spread the oats on the parchment paper.
Bake for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through and removing from the oven.
Let it cool completely before incorporating the chocolate chips.
Note:
Store in a glass container for up to 2 weeks.
