Looking for a tasty breakfast option that’s nutritious, high protein, vegan and simple to make? Tofu scramble is the perfect solution. This delightful alternative to scrambled eggs is a favorite for those embracing a plant-based lifestyle.

Makes 2 servings | ⏱️ 10 mins | gluten free 🌾
Ingredients:
1/2 block extra firm tofu (roughly 200 grams)
1/4 tsp kala namak (black salt)
1/4 tsp turmeric
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp avocado oil - sub for any vegetable oil
3 tbsp unsweetened plant milk
pinch of salt
Instructions:
Begin by heating the avocado oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes.
With your hands, break the tofu into small pieces directly into the frying pan and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes.
Then, incorporate the kala namak, turmeric, yeast, and onion powder, and stir for a minute.
Pour in the plant milk and stir until the tofu has soaked up the milk.
Season with salt to your liking and serve.
